We stayed in a spacious family room that was clean and comfortable, perfect for our family trip. The location was great, allowing us to explore the nearby eateries and even visit the famous Crosby Beach to see the Gormley statues. The cooked breakfast was a hit with everyone!
My kids wished there were more toiletries provided.

The Deluxe Double or Twin Room was spacious and super comfy. The bed was plush, and I loved having plenty of room to move around. The TV was nice and big too. Really appreciated the tea and coffee facilities available, which made mornings easier. Plus, it was spotlessly clean! It could’ve used some toiletries in the bathroom, but other than that, it was a great stay!

Enjoyed the lovely spacious family room, which had excellent tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast was a standout, especially the full English, fresh and well-prepared. The only downside was the absence of toiletries in the bathroom on arrival.

The Woodlands is an exceptionally clean and well-maintained guest house. I enjoyed the comfortable en suite room with a lovely view of the garden. The breakfast selection was impressive, with a cooked option that was served promptly. The location is convenient, with easy access to local eateries and public transport, including a short walk to Waterloo Station. The owners were welcoming, which made for a pleasant stay.
Internet access was poor in my room.
